Hemroid Symptoms: Internal or External Hemroid - What Condition Do You Have?
Hemorrhoid SymptomsItchiness or bleeding can be two of hemroid symptoms and since there are many cases, each case must be managed accordingly. Internal hemorrhoid symptoms and external hemroid symptoms have case to case differences, which must be understood first to come up with distinct ways of dealing with each case.
The External Hemorrhoids
Pain in the rectum is one of the external hemroid symptoms and it is due to obstruction of the bowel movement. This unpleasant condition results to formation of blood clot under the skin and lumps. This lumped condition under the skin is called a thrombosed condition and therefore also known as thrombosed hemorrhoids.
Occasionally you may experience the same condition if you try too hard pushing your rigid stools out, and this can cause bleeding. This bleeding is rare and uncommon, but it may happen. External hemorrhoid rarely results to this kind of blood passing, but bleeding upon defecating can be seen in patients with internal hemorrhoid.
The internal hemroids
Finding blood in your stool can be a first sign of internal hemorrhoid. The blood in the stool is due to rectal bleeding which is a frequent symptom. When you find out fresh, bright red blood in your stool, you have yourself examined to find out the cause of the bleeding. Rarely conditions become such that you become anemic due to the extreme loss of blood due to the same.
Internal hemorrhoids manifests symptoms other than rectal bleeding alone, and thus it is important to know other signs as well. Hence, it is more than wise to visit your doctor so that proper evaluation is done.
Itching as a form of irritation will affect you severely when you are suffering from this condition. It happens because the hemorrhoids seep mucous that are toxins to the anal skin. The irritation is manifested through the itchiness in the anus. There is often nothing you can do about the itching in your anus and around it.
Other than itching, skin irritation is a very simple hemroid symptom. This skin irritation will occur mostly on your back side and the skin covering your buttocks. Internal hemroids give rise to acne-like irritation. The mucus secretion in the anus causes the irritation and itching on the nearby skin. Mucus may ooze from hemroids that are huge enough to stick out of the anal opening resulting to irritation of nearby skin tissue.
Discomfort and inability to sit down are other familiar hemroid symptoms that you will come across. You may also feel that you need to pass stool at all times. The feeling of fullness in the rectal region is due to the presence and pressure of hemroids. Even just after coming out of the toilet, you still feel as if you are about to pass stools.
An intense hemroid symptom can come as pain that can be alleviated through pain killing medicines.
